Encryption Policy

Overview

To outline our hosted servers encryption policies and methods.

Purpose.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all industry standards and practices are used when encrypting customer facing data.

Scope.

This applies to any and all Yellow Dog Software Hosted Server Environments and associated Customer Databases.

Policy.

Encryption for our Hosted Server Environment is done through encrypting the SQL connection using an SSL Certificate. Data is encrypted in transit using a SSL TLS 1.2 methodology. More information can be found here

Yellow Dog Software uses the Certificate method for encryption and trust communication for our SQL connections.

Our Certificate is from a Verified Trusted Certificate Authority. More information can be found here
