Overview

Our integration with Foretees allows Foretees to get item detail and on hand information and post sales transactions to Yellow Dog via our API.

Sync Approach

This integration contains two elements:

• Foretees’s process to pull item data and post sales transactions

• A Yellow Dog Process Sales application to process the sales transactions provided by Foretees to deplete inventory and update reporting in Yellow Dog.

Sync Frequency 

The Push and Pull of data by Foretees is configured on their side. Our sync application to process sales data can be run at any interval but will be scheduled hourly by default.

The POS Partner is required to configure the sync application on their side.

Yellow Dog

The Yellow Dog Client must be hosted by Yellow Dog to utilize the API.

Yellow Dog is required to provide API credientials to Foretees and configuring the process sales application.

Foretees controls the item pull and sales push via Yellow Dog’s API.
