Squirrel 1-Way Integration for F&B

Overview
The integration with Squirrel allows for a 1-Way F&B Integration where Yellow Dog’s sync pulls sales data directly from Squirrel’s database.
For Retail clients please refer to the Squirrel 2-Way Integration.
Sync Approach
This interface contains 1 element, Yellow Dog’s SyncYDwithSquirrel application to pull sales. The sync can be run from any location that can access the Squirrel database.
Sync Frequency
The sync application can be configured to run at any interval. By default this will be configured to run hourly.
Configuration
If using size modifiers for items please consult with the Yellow Dog Implementation guide for the best approach.
Requirements
Client
The client will need to ensure that items and recipes are mapped using the POS Item Map to ensure inventory depletion.
POS Partner
The POS Partner will need provide Yellow Dog the following:
Revenue Center Codes
Squirrel Database Name
Squirrel Server Name/IP
Squirrel Server Port
Read-only credentials to the Squirrel Database
Yellow Dog
Yellow Dog will need to ensure the revenue centers are configured to the corresponding store in Yellow Dog.

Additional Information
Known Limitations
In order for items to appear in Yellow Dog’s POS Item Map they must be sold in the POS first.
Additional Notes
This integration supports multiple revenue center codes per store in Yellow Dog but must be configured as pipe delimited.
