Data Manipulation
Our standard policy is not to manipulate any Yellow Dog Inventory historical data. We need to maintain the audit ability of our information as it relates to point of sale, accounting, or any other connected or related system.
Yellow Dog considers data manipulation to include, but not limited to the following:
Deleting purchasing documents of any kind
Un-committing or deleting a Physical Inventory (past it’s allowed 7 day period where permitted)
Fixing/deleting unattended EDI or otherwise imported data
Importing data of any kind past the Implementation period of the project
If, in the sole discretion of Yellow Dog Software, it is determined the data manipulation or correction is viable, the end user will need authorize Yellow Dog Software to make such corrections and pay the appropriate fees to do so. The resources needed are developers with a minimum rate of $225 per hour.
Our recommendation is to use the abilities in Yellow Dog Inventory to make the necessary corrections today to correct previous transactions.
